The Guild was honored to be selected by Oracle-NetSuite’s Burlington office as their chosen nonprofit organization for the Social Impact Challenge. From November 5–13, Oracle teams leveraged their outreach and prospecting expertise to help The Guild develop creative strategies for fundraising and development.
The Social Impact Challenge is part of Oracle-NetSuite’s Pro Bono Beyond program, in which employees donate their time, skills, and general expertise to nonprofit partners. Employees worldwide collaborate with over 400 nonprofits on various projects annually.

More than 60 Oracle-NetSuite professionals learned about The Guild’s mission and vision to help individuals achieve their personal goals for a high quality of life. They worked in teams of 4-5 to research, brainstorm, and generate ideas for a pitch presentation. The teams applied their research and sales skills to provide us with potential outreach points, new leads, and actionable strategies for establishing corporate sponsorships aligned with The Guild’s strategic plan.
The results were dozens of ideas to get The Guild started on new fundraising efforts that we hope to implement and launch in the coming months. Working with the Oracle-NetSuite teams, we gained champions for our mission and valuable outside perspectives that will strengthen our outreach efforts. This collaboration truly demonstrates the power of business and community coming together for social good.
"Every partnership is an opportunity to strengthen our mission. Together, we can turn shared values into meaningful outcomes," said Michael Clontz, Chief Operating Officer.
