Lend your voice
Parents and caregivers participate in meaningful leadership and advisory roles. Involving parents and caregivers as partners aligns with The Guild’s goal of fostering relationships between families and staff to improve the quality of life and self-determination of residents and students.
- Parents and caregivers to adult residents at The Guild can get involved in the Human Rights Committee, Lifespan Planning Committee, and Parent Advisory Committees, Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) Leadership Team and interview teams for managerial staff. For more information, reach out to Maureen Costello-Shea or Mustapha Abdulai.
- The Guild School's youth parent advisory group meets regularly to discuss school programs and services. Parents and caregivers also volunteer at events, attend trainings and workshops, and attend support groups and gatherings with their peers. For more information, reach out to Annie Willis.
