Peg Doherty is retired from a long professional career at mission-driven healthcare organizations. She has been a healthcare executive in ambulatory care, home healthcare, and hospice settings. Most recently, Peg worked in a large multisite and multispecialty Mass General Brigham ambulatory care practice.

Prior to Mass General Brigham, Peg was Senior Vice Present/COO at Home Health Foundation, parent company of Home Health VNA and Merrimack Valley Hospice. Home Health Foundation is a multi-state provider of certified home heath, hospice, and palliative care with an annual revenue of $60 million. HHF served an average daily census of 3,500 patients in more than one-hundred cities and towns and also operates an in-patient hospice facility.

Peg is the proud parent of a 35-year-old young man with multiple disabilities who has been in The Guild’s adult residential program since 2015. She has served on The Guild Human Rights Committee for seven years and was chair for six of those years. She is deeply committed to the human rights of all individuals who are disabled, as well as the staff who support them.

Peg obtained her BS from Boston College and a BSN from Saint Louis University.
