Alyssa Bedard joined The Guild in January of 2023. Prior to this role, she served as a certified Speech Language Pathology Assistant at a special education center for children with developmental disabilities and emotional disturbances. Alyssa also previously worked as a residential counselor for adults with traumatic brain injuries. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Bridgewater State University. In her current role, she enjoys cultivating each student’s self-advocacy skills and supporting their individualized communication strategies so they can access their daily life as independently as possible. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys practicing yoga, dancing, taking pictures of the moon, and playing fetch with her cat.
