Summary: To assist the Residential Manager (or Lead/Assistant Residential Manager) in the development and implementation of a comprehensive residential program for each of their assigned individuals. 

Shifts Available:

  • Full - time 3p-11p and Sunday 8a - 11p
  • Overnight 11p-9a (limited)

Qualifications:

  • Work as a cohesive team member to maintain clean, safe, and positive environment for individuals at the assigned workplace.
  • Assist in the implementation of each individuals ISP/IEP and daily activity schedule.
  • Practice positive behavior supports and individual behavior plans for assigned persons.
  • Assist in record keeping and data collection.
  • Provide supervision of assigned individual(s) to exact best care possible.
  • Able to transport individuals as needed.
  • Maintain training requirements.
  • Contribute to The Guild’s mission and values of service.

Essential Role Functions:

  • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job including weekends, holidays and inclement weather situations.
  • Demonstrated evidence of mature judgment, good interpersonal skills, a desire to enrich individuals' lives and a willingness to learn from skilled professionals.
  • Physical and mental capacity to work in stressful situations and de-escalate individuals who have limited cognition and complex needs
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is an essential function of the job.
  • Pass Guild Driving test to access Guild vehicles for transportations of individuals.
  • The ability to restrain individuals during a crisis using CPI
  • The ability to assist individuals in evacuation from the residence.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree is preferred; prior experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
  • A valid driver's license
  • Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirements.
  • MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification or the ability to obtain MAP certification within first 90 days of employment
  • Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirements.
  • Reliable transportation to residential homes located in Massachusetts.
